Children need care, security, and attachment. Period. We would all agree with that statement but it gets more complicated as children turn into adults. Why can it sometimes be so difficult to give or receive care in our romantic relationships? How can small interactions lead to big misunderstandings by our partners? In this workshop you'll be taught a well-researched model of couples communication from Emotion Focused Therapy. Come prepared to learn a new language for discussing emotional pain in a way that bonds you to your partner instead of pushes them away. Find common ground through specific communication tools that teach how to engage with each other in ways that promote connection.
All are welcome to this workshop. If you are married, dating, or even single and just want to learn more for possible future romantic relationships, we hope to see you there!
