What To Expect
Come as you are! This doesn't mean that we only have people in shorts and flip flops. It means that the people who come to our church are all a part of a loving family. There may be someone who looks like your rich uncle Bob, your beach bum cousin Reggie, your old aunt Sue, or a host of other people you work with. God tells us to come as we are because man looks at the outer appearance but He looks at our hearts. The atmosphere at Genesis is casual, but our passion is evident. You will see people sitting in the back of our main gathering place at a high top table eating a danish and sipping on a beverage, and you will also see others standing in the front row soaking in everything that is being said and done. Our music is passionate, loud and proud. Our teaching is practical, thought-provoking and emotional. Bring your children of all ages because we love to serve them as well. From nursery to childrens ministry, we engage our kids with the same exciting things that you will experience in our main service. Our full-service coffee house is not just a couple of air pots with different flavors from the local market. The Salt Rock serves the best coffee in Utah with its beans shipped in directly from Italy. Each cup of coffee, smoothie or other assorted beverage is handled with great love and care.
